The exhibition First Matches, First Clubs: The Beginnings of Football in Ljubljana in front of the Stožice Sports Centre

You are invited to visit the exhibition First Matches, First Clubs: The Beginnings of Football in Ljubljana, which will be on display in front of the Stožice Sports Centre from 10 January to 9 February 2026.

The bilingual exhibition takes visitors through almost half a century of the development of football in the city – from its beginnings and school clubs, through periods of growth and local derbies, to the difficult circumstances during the Second World War and the symbolic first match in liberated Ljubljana.
