Accessibility statement

The Slovenian School Museum is committed to making the website accessible to all users in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website in order to ensure accessibility requirements, certain system adaptations have been provided, such as:

  • Responsive design (adapting the layout of content to the screen resolution),
    display of content for users of assistive technologies (for example: screen readers),
  • keyboard navigation (adaptation for users who cannot use a mouse),
    contrast between text and background,
  • Focus highlighting,
  • predictable website performance,
  • the possibility to annotate images with alternative text,
  • the possibility to use different levels of headings and roles for each strand

Level of consistency
The website is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Apps Act due to the exceptions listed below.

Inaccessible content
The accessibility of is continuously monitored and individual accessibility elements are continuously improved. However, some of the content published does not meet all accessibility requirements as set out in the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Due to very frequent content updates, visitors may occasionally encounter accessibility problems when browsing, despite our efforts to make all pages as accessible and user-friendly as possible.
